Position : Business Development Manager - Solar, Renewables & Battery (Delhi)
Role Overview
Lead domestic sales growth for solar, renewables, and battery materials. Target new accounts while managing key existing clients in northern India.

Strategic Account Development : Identify, evaluate, and systematically penetrate new opportunities across solar, energy storage, and battery materials sectors.Import-Export Operations : Manage end-to-end import processes including documentation, regulatory compliance, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.Relationship Management : Build and maintain C-suite relationships with key decision-makers at major Indian conglomerates, renewable developers, and battery manufacturers.Commercial Negotiations : Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and commercial term structuring to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive positioning.Market Intelligence : Track industry trends, regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to guide strategic decisions.Cross-functional Collaboration : Coordinate with global trading desks, technical teams, logistics partners, and senior management for seamless execution and customer satisfaction.Essential Qualifications & Experience
Industry Background : 10-15 years of progressive experience in renewable energy, battery manufacturing, or clean-tech sectors.Import-Export Expertise : Proven proficiency in import documentation, regulatory compliance, and international trade operations.Preferred Experience : Exposure to Indian conglomerates and Japanese trading houses (experience with global trading practices is a strong plus).Alternative Consideration : Professionals from the broader power sector (power generation or equipment) with transferable commercial skills will also be considered.Selection Process
