Job description

A sales pre-sales role focuses onsupporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and solution design to potential clients before a sale is made.This involves understanding customer needs, crafting tailored solutions, and demonstrating the value of a product or service.Ultimately, pre-sales efforts aim to qualify leads, build relationships, and accelerate the sales process.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conducting thorough research on prospective clients and their industries to identify pain points and requirements
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored solutions, prepare presentations, and deliver product demonstrations
  • Providing technical support to the sales team, answering questions, and addressing concerns during the sales process
  • Assisting in the creation of proposals, RFPs, and other sales-related documents
  • A solid understanding of the product or service being sold, including its features, benefits, and technical specifications
  • Building strong relationships with potential clients to foster trust and confidence in the product / service
  • Working closely with the sales team, marketing, and potentially other technical teams to ensure a seamless and effective sales process
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Understanding the sales process and being able to contribute to its effectiveness
