Role Description

  • Develop ocean and air freight business by actively engaging with overseas agents and partners.
  • Act as a single point of contact for assigned five international countries.
  • Daily interaction with overseas agents via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and Skype to explore and generate new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal pricing team to share and manage enquiries effectively.
  • Identify and secure new business by leveraging rate and market information to drive growth.
  • Promote Bharat Logistics&apos services across international freight forwarding markets.
  • Maintain daily reports including call reports, development reports, and enquiry reports.
  • Generate actionable plans to improve business development performance and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with overseas agents and partners.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with internal teams such as pricing, customer service, and operations.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Graduate Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in Freight Forwarding / Shipping / Logistics.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Language Requirements :  Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of CargoWise is a plus.
  • Ability to interact across various departments like Pricing, Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation.
  • Must provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports on sales efforts.
  • Working Hours & Schedule

  • ???? Timings : 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM
  • ???? Weekends : 2nd & 4th Saturdays Off | Other Saturdays Half Day
