Requirements

Roles of a Business Development Executive

Lead Generation

Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, networking, or digital platforms (LinkedIn, industry databases, etc.)

Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

Understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

Sales & Revenue Generation

Pitch products / services to prospective clients.

Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Market Research and Analysis

Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Identify new markets and customer needs.

Strategic Planning

Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth.

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align growth initiatives.

Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and deal progress using CRM tools.

Provide regular updates and reports to management on performance and opportunities.

Networking & Events

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to promote the business and generate leads.

Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts.

Coordinate with product or service teams to ensure delivery matches client expectations.

Required Skills :

Minimum 2+yrs experience in Residential Building
