Job Title : Sr. Executive – Business Development (Container Trading)

Purpose of the role
We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive individual to oversee and handle daily sales of shipping containers. The ideal candidate should bring deep domain expertise from the shipping, NVOCC, or container leasing industry, and possess deep experience of container buying & selling. This role demands strong Negotiation skills, High sales skills. stakeholder management, and reporting capabilities to drive sales excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage buying and selling of new and used containers (20GP, 40HC, etc.)
- Build and manage vendor and depot relationships
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients across industries (freight forwarders, CHAs, NVOCCs, logistics companies)
- Conduct regular cold calling, email outreach, and client meetings (virtual or on-ground)
- Plan and execute market penetration strategies
- Represent the company in local logistics events, expos, and trade meets
- Coordinate with operations for smooth order execution
- Support monthly and quarterly sales planning and forecasting

Graduate or Postgraduate with 5–7 years of proven experience in container trading, leasing, or related logistics salesStrong understanding of container types, specifications, and market dynamicsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsWillingness to travel frequently across South Indian statesProficiency in MS Office and basic CRM toolsSelf-driven, reliable, and target-orientedPreferred Candidate Profile :
