Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales, customer engagement, and market expansion in the automation and control systems domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in electrical and embedded control products, along with proven experience in OEM business development, preferably in the marine or defense sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement business development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Periodically review and optimize sales plans and strategies with key stakeholders.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and offer suitable solutions based on tender specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and strategic outreach.
- Stay updated on product lines, competitor offerings, and new market developments.
- Organize business development meetings with new and existing customers.
- Maintain detailed records of sales, revenue, and market activity.
Skills & Qualifications :
MBA in Marketing or B.E. in Electronics / Electrical from a reputed university.12–15 years of hands-on experience in sales management, customer management, and business generation.Strong knowledge of OEM business development in automation with products like electrical switchgear, embedded controllers, PLCs, drives, VFDs, electronic control systems.Experience in marine or defense domain is a plus.Excellent communication skills and ability to handle techno-commercial discussions.Prior experience in electronic control system design or project management is advantageous.Skills Required
