Job description

& Market Leadership :

  • Develop and Execute the Go-to-Market Strategy : Design, validate, and own the comprehensive GTM plan for the new tech vertical, including detailed market segmentation, clear positioning, and robust pricing strategies.
  • Competitive Intelligence : Conduct high-level market analysis, including deep dives into competitor offerings, pricing models, and emerging tech education trends to maintain a distinct competitive advantage.
  • Performance Ownership : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and own the revenue targets for the vertical, tracking pipeline growth, conversion rates, and campaign ROI with an emphasis on data-backed decision-making.

Sales & Partnerships :

  • High-Value Partnership Acquisition : Identify, negotiate, and close strategic B2B partnerships with colleges, universities, large corporations, and institutional partners to drive high-volume course adoption.
  • Sales Process Management : Build and optimize the entire sales funnelfrom lead generation and qualification to proposal development and final contract closure.
  • Brand Advocacy & Outreach : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand visibility and generate C-level interest.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Product Input :

  • Marketing-Sales Alignment : Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to design and deploy high-conversion campaigns (digital marketing, content, emailers) that directly support sales objectives.
  • Product Feedback Loop : Serve as the "voice of the customer" to the Product and Academic Content teams, translating market demands and partner feedback into actionable insights for continuous course improvement and new offering development.
  • Job Requirements & Must-Have Skills :

    Required Experience :

  • Experience : 4-6 years of progressive experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, or Strategy, preferably within the EdTech, SaaS, or Technology services industry.
  • Education : MBA (Marketing, Strategy, or Business Analytics specialization is preferred).
  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success in launching new products or verticals and achieving significant revenue growth or market share targets.
  • Business Acumen : Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and how to leverage data analytics to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Must-Have Skills :

  • Exceptional Communication & Negotiation : Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to pitch complex services and negotiate high-stakes contracts.
  • Strategic & Entrepreneurial Mindset : Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute business initiatives independently, demonstrating high initiative and end-to-end ownership.
  • Analytical Proficiency : Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting, and using CRM and analytics tools (e., Salesforce, Google Analytics) to manage the pipeline and report on performance.
  • Collaboration : Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Tech) without formal authority
