Position Summary :
Our partner, a global enterprise unifying its platforms into a single integrated ecosystem, is seeking a Business Applications Manager to lead enterprise systems across SAP, Salesforce, Azure, analytics, and core infrastructure. You will oversee application operations, incident response, and enhancements while guiding architecture and design decisions that support finance, sales, supply chain, and HR. The ideal candidate will bring broad IT expertise to evaluate systems, enforce security and compliance, and align applications with business needs. You will lead a team of functional leads and engineers, establishing KPIs, SLAs, and governance practices from the ground up. As the team scales, you will drive operational excellence while enabling continuous improvement and project delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping the foundation of a unified platform built for global growth.
Experience and Education :
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Arts or equivalent experience / field
10+ years in enterprise IT or applications leadership
Background in SAP and enterprise application environments
Experience spanning applications and infrastructure operations
Managed delivery for ERP, CRM, analytics, and cloud platforms
Proven history of building operational KPIs and governance from scratch
Directed teams of 20+ with functional leads reporting in

Primary Job Responsibilities :
Lead and grow a global team of functional leads, analysts, developers, and engineers across the world
Oversee SAP, Salesforce, Azure, analytics, and infrastructure operations
Balance operational delivery (80%) with continuous improvement and project initiatives
Establish KPIs, SLAs, and governance practices from the ground up
Drive incident and problem management, ensuring timely resolution and prevention
Contribute to architecture and design conversations with broad technical depth
Partner with U.S. leadership on roadmap delivery and execution
Ensure systems support all core functions : finance, sales, supply chain, HR
Scale the India team into the 20s, structuring delivery through a team-of-leads model
Facilitate onsite sessions with business stakeholders to translate requirements into action
Ensure compliance with InfoSec and change control standards
Promote cross-team communication and product-oriented thinking
Mentor functional leads and develop long-term organizational capacity
Coordinate vendor touchpoints in India jointly with U.S. leaders
Maintain consistent availability and presence for stakeholders, both local and global
