Position : Business Development Manager - Edible Oils (CPO & Related) | Delhi
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive domestic sales growth for crude palm oil (CPO) and related edible oil products in India. The role requires a commercially driven individual with strong knowledge of the edible oils industry, proven ability to crack new accounts, and experience managing key client relationships.

New Account Acquisition : Identify and onboard new clients across leading edible oil refiners, processors, and FMCG players in India.Client Management : Manage end-to-end client engagement, from negotiations to post-sales service, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.Domestic Sales Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies for edible oils, ensuring consistent pipeline growth and order closures.Market & Pricing Intelligence : Track global palm oil pricing, domestic demand-supply trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting edible oils.Commercial Negotiations : Lead pricing and contract discussions, ensuring sustainable margins while maintaining competitive positioning.Cross-functional Coordination : Work with procurement, logistics, trading, and finance teams to ensure smooth imports, domestic deliveries, and client satisfaction.Essential Qualifications & Experience
Industry Background : 10-15 years in B2B sales and business development within the edible oils sector (CPO, refined palm oil, or related vegetable oils).Sales Track Record : Demonstrated success in cracking new accounts and scaling client portfolios.Domestic Sales Expertise : Strong knowledge of Indian edible oil markets, customer base, and distribution dynamics.Commercial Acumen : Skilled in pricing strategies, contract structuring, and P&L impact management.Network : Established relationships with edible oil refiners, FMCG companies, and large food manufacturers will be highly valued.Selection Process
