Position : Business Development Manager - Fertilizers | Delhi
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving domestic sales growth in fertilizers, onboarding new accounts, and strengthening existing client relationships. The role calls for a commercially sharp individual with in-depth knowledge of the fertilizer industry and proven experience in B2B sales.

Core Responsibilities & Expectations
New Account Acquisition : Identify, pursue, and secure new clients across fertilizer cooperatives, distributors, and agro-input companies in India.Client Management : Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.Domestic Sales Execution : Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for fertilizer products, ensuring steady pipeline development and revenue growth.Market & Pricing Intelligence : Monitor fertilizer pricing trends, government policies, and competitor activities to provide insights for strategic decisions.Commercial Negotiations : Lead contract discussions and pricing negotiations, balancing profitability with market competitiveness.Cross-functional Coordination : Collaborate with procurement, logistics, trading, and finance teams to ensure seamless product supply and delivery to clients.Essential Qualifications & Experience
Industry Background : 10-15 years in fertilizer sales, trading, or business development; experience with urea, DAP, NPKs, or specialty fertilizers preferred.Sales Track Record : Proven ability to acquire new accounts and grow sales volumes within the fertilizer market.Domestic Market Expertise : Strong understanding of India's fertilizer distribution channels, cooperatives, and government-linked procurement systems.Commercial Acumen : Skilled in pricing, negotiation, and contract management.Network : Established relationships with fertilizer cooperatives, agro-input distributors, and large agricultural companies will be highly valued.Selection Process
