We are seeking a skilled and versatile ServiceNow Developer to join our team to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions across the ServiceNow Platform. This role requires hands-on experience in multiple ServiceNow modules including IT Asset Management (ITAM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC / IRM), Field Service Management (FSM), and the ability to build custom applications within the Now Platform.
You will play a critical role in transforming business requirements into scalable, efficient ServiceNow solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow Platform including custom applications.
Configure and support modules such as :
IT Asset Management (ITAM) hardware / software lifecycle, CMDB integration.GRC / IRM policy and compliance management, risk assessments, audit tracking.Field Service Management (FSM) workforce scheduling, dispatching, and mobile field service solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and workflows.Leverage ServiceNow App Engine to create scalable low-code / no-code applications.Ensure compliance with best practices in ServiceNow development and data security.Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and data sources using REST / SOAP APIs.Participate in Agile / Scrum teams to deliver solutions in sprints.Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with deployments.Required Skills and Qualifications :
36 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.Proven experience with :
a. ITAM module (hardware / software asset lifecycle, discovery, CMDB).
b. GRC / IRM module (risk, compliance, policy management).
c. FSM (field service workflows, integrations, and mobility).
Strong expertise in building and managing custom applications using App Engine Studio or scoped apps.Proficient in scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, business rules, flow designer, and client / server-side scripting.Experience with REST / SOAP APIs, MID Server, and integrations.Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and version upgrades.Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, ITAM, GRC, FSM) are a strong plus.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with ServiceNow's AI features, Virtual Agent, or Performance Analytics.Exposure to enterprise architecture and ITSM best practices.Familiarity with DevOps pipelines in ServiceNow (e.g., ATF, CI / CD integrations).(ref : hirist.tech)
