Guidewire Business Analyst (PolicyCenter & ClaimCenter)
Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week).
Contract Duration : Long Term.
Work Hours : Standard (Must work until 11 : 30am EST).
Work Schedule : 8 hours / day (Mon-Fri).
Location : Hybrid India (3x days onsite / week in India).
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst to support our insurance technology initiatives across PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, supporting production issues, and ensuring seamless integration with external systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance, hands-on knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and / or ClaimCenter, and expertise in driving end-to-end business and system solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Develop business use cases, process / data flows, traceability matrices, and report mock-ups.
- Monitor and analyze system incidents, tickets, and requests; resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to provide subject-matter expertise and support troubleshooting.
- Lead requirements workshops, review sessions, and UAT activities, ensuring business approval and sign-off.
- Support workflows, data mappings, and system integrations with external platforms.
- Ensure solutions improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across products and business processes.
- Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for system and process improvements.
- Create documentation using standard business tools (Visio, Confluence, JIRA, MS Office).
Requirements :
5+ years of Business Analysis experience in the Commercial P&C Insurance industry.Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and / or ClaimCenter (functional expertise required in at least one; exposure to both preferred).Strong knowledge of claims processing and policy administration workflows.Experience with system integration projects and external system connectivity.Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, UAT, process modeling, and workflow design.Familiarity with Agile / Iterative methodologies, SDLC, and PMLC.Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in business and project tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio).Experience with visualization or UI mockup tools is a plus.(ref : hirist.tech)
