About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced ServiceMax Business Analyst / Developer who can bridge business requirements with technical execution to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of ServiceMax, SAP, and Boomi integrations, and will play a critical role in gathering requirements, mapping business processes, and enabling enterprise-wide implementations. This is a highly collaborative role that demands technical acumen, strong analytical skills, and effective communication across stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities : Analysis & Documentation :
- Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across Commercial and related business processes.
- Create detailed artifacts including business process documents, requirements specifications, process maps, functional design documents, epics, user stories, and test scripts.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with organizational goals.
Solution Development & Enhancements :
Analyze new business topics and design structured, efficient technical solutions using ServiceMax.Build and maintain a backlog of enhancement requests, ensuring requests are properly documented, prioritized, and ready for configuration / development.Configure ServiceMax functionalities and support development activities to address evolving business needs.Integration & Data Management :
Leverage expertise in ServiceMax, SAP, and Boomi to design, test, and support integrations between enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, eCommerce platforms, external APIs).Use data analytics and reporting to validate requirements, measure performance, and propose improvements.Testing & Quality Assurance :
Develop and review test cases and test scripts in collaboration with QA teams to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements.Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, IT development staff, and external vendors to align on solutions.Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.Act as a liaison between business and IT, ensuring solutions are business-driven and technically feasible.Tools & Agile Delivery :
Manage requirements, user stories, and development tasks using JIRA or similar project management tools.Work in an Agile / Scrum environment, supporting iterative delivery of value to the business.Required Qualifications :
Professional Experience : 8 - 10 years in Business Analysis and Development roles with proven expertise in ServiceMax.ServiceMax Expertise : Strong hands-on experience in configuring and implementing ServiceMax solutions.Integration Knowledge : Solid technical understanding of Boomi integrations, SAP systems, and API-based data flows between enterprise applications.Analytical Skills : Ability to perform data-driven analysis and problem-solving to design efficient solutions.Agile Methodology : Experience in creating epics, user stories, and backlog management in Agile environments.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact across organizational layers.Tools : Familiarity with JIRA, Service Management Systems, and related project tracking tools.Timezone Flexibility : Ability to work during CET business hours (2 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM IST).(ref : hirist.tech)
