Title - Business Analyst III (Development AI)
Location - Hyderabad
Work Mode - The role will initially be on a 3-month contractual basis, during which the position will be remote (work from home) until the office setup is complete. Post that, it will transition to an on-site (work from office) role

Roles & Responsibilities :
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in payroll processing and HCM platforms. You will collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements, optimize processes, and support the delivery of compliant, efficient payroll and HCM solutions.
Under the direction of the Product Owner,the Business Analyst will manage projects related to software product development for their designated product team. The Business Analyst will review the business needs of clients, network partners and stakeholders to help identify business problems,propose and document solutions. This individual will understand and implement the standards and compliance measures consistently.
Key Responsibilities :
Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document detailed business requirements.Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend efficiency improvements.Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.Liaise between business teams and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding.Support project planning, prioritization, and backlog refinement.Conduct and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solutions.Monitor solution implementation to ensure alignment with defined requirements.Maintain clear and updated documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.Assist in change management and provide training to end-users.Experience :
3+ yrs business experience related to payroll or other HCM services.Associates degree or equivalent business experience.Strong technical aptitude and capabilities.Organization and prioritization skills, both written and verbal.Attention to detail with respect to documenting project specifications and test cases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently on assigned project work.Certifications in HRIS, payroll, or business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).Hands-on experience with HCM or HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, ADP).36 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on payroll and HCM systems.Collaborate with HR, payroll, and IT teams for smooth project delivery.(ref : hirist.tech)
