Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager - Partnerships & Alliances to lead strategic collaborations with top private universities across India.

This is a senior, high-impact role where you will engage directly with university leadership - Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Deans - to forge long-term, high-value partnerships. You will be responsible for driving alliances that enable universities to launch and scale Allied Health Science programs through revenue-sharing models, ensuring both academic excellence and sustainable business growth.

The ideal candidate is a confident relationship builder, a strategic thinker, and a trusted advisor capable of influencing senior stakeholders and translating opportunities into impactful collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

1. Identify and develop partnerships with top-tier NAAC A, A+, and A++ private universities across India.

2. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners and manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle - from outreach and engagement to closure and onboarding.

3. Establish deep, trust-based relationships with senior university leaders and decision-makers.

4. Lead partnership discussions and negotiations to secure win-win agreements aligned with Virohan's growth goals.

B. Sector & Market Expertise

1. Develop an in-depth understanding of Allied Health Sciences and the higher education ecosystem to position yourself as a domain expert.

2. Stay up to date with UGC guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends in healthcare education.

3. Monitor market movements and competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and strategic directions.

C. Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Work closely with internal teams and partner universities to ensure seamless handover and successful program implementation.

2. Collaborate with Partner Success and Academic teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for universities and students alike.

3. Drive operational excellence and ensure partnerships deliver long-term value.

Experience & Skills 2-6 years of experience in B2B sales, strategic partnerships, or account management, preferably engaging with universities or large institutions.

2. Proven success in managing C-suite or senior academic relationships and closing large, consultative deals.

3. Strong existing network within the higher education ecosystem is highly Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

3. Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
