Job Title : Area Sales Manager
Sales Target Achievement :
- Prepare territory sales budgets and targets for the industrial segment.
- Facilitate Zonal Distributors (ZD), Area Distributors (AD), and dealers in achieving their sales targets (FGIs, QGIs, etc.).
Market Development & Penetration :
Develop local-level schemes and incentives for dealers in consultation with ZD.Prospect institutions and convert them into customers.Implement Below-the-Line (BTL) activities in the assigned territory.Customer Satisfaction :
Ensure timely complaint resolution and redressal.Provide in-shop branding and signage at dealer outlets.Update the Head of Department (HOD) on competitor activities.Dealer / Channel Management :
Implement strategies for expansion and management of dealers.Visit ZDs, ADs, and dealers as per the plan.Help implement and adhere to national procedures and policies.Collections :
Ensure timely payment collection from ZDs, ADs, and dealers.Ensure all financial claims of channels are settled within time.Number of prospects visited and new business opportunities added.Dealer / Channel visits and appointment of new dealers.Credit days management.Competitor updates and scheme impact assessment.Working Relations :
Collaboration with Sales Head, Marketing, Commercial, and Service departments.Close coordination with channel partners and subordinates.Decision Making :
Propose product introductions or discontinuations based on market competition.Skills Required
