Manager - Business Development / Sales - IT

Position : Business Development IT Sales Manager

Location : Maputo, Mozambique (Relocation Required)

Experience : Minimum 7 years in IT sales, preferably with international B2B exposure

About the Role :

We are hiring a result-driven BD IT Sales Manager with 7+ years of experience in B2B software, SaaS, or IT service sales. The candidate must be skilled in client acquisition, lead generation, proposal handling, and closing international deals. Must have strong communication, CRM knowledge, and experience with enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Generation : Identify and pursue new B2B leads through digital platforms, referrals, and networking.
• Client Acquisition : Pitch and present IT products (Web, Software, CRM, ERP, HRMS, Digital Services) to prospective clients.
• Sales Pipeline Management : Maintain and update CRM with leads, client interactions, and proposals.
• Proposal & Negotiation : Draft customized proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales with international and corporate clients.
• Market Expansion : Explore new markets in Africa and globally to grow the IT service footprint.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the technical team to align client needs with deliverables.
