Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead our Enterprise SaaS Sales efforts across India. This role requires a self-starter who can manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities :
- Drive SaaS product sales to enterprise customers across India.
- Conduct field travel to meet clients, deliver product demos and corporate presentations.
- Prepare and manage proposal documentation, respond to RFPs, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Continuously improve sales processes and contribute to the development of marketing materials, product messaging, and positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and CRM updates (HubSpot / Odoo).
- Ensure timely renewals and maintain strong client relationships Proven experience as a Business Development Manager handling enterprise accounts.
- Strong record of working as an individual contributor and growth driver.
- Experience in leading a small team (3+ members).
- Demonstrated success in selling SaaS products to enterprise customers.
- Strong adherence to and continuous improvement of Sales SOPs.
- Excellent customer engagement skills with a solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot or Odoo.
- High proficiency in MS Word and Excel (Google Workspace or O365).
- Deep understanding of sales performance metrics and pipeline management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to manage projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) :
Knowledge of pricing and negotiation strategies.Experience with GeM bidding and PSU tendering processes.Experience in the Agrochemical industry.Familiarity with outcome-based engagements and B2C product adoption metrics.Prior work experience in the Middle East or Asia-Pacific regions.Exposure to remote sales for US-based clients.Understanding of Google Analytics for tracking marketing or sales performance.(ref : iimjobs.com)
