Role & responsibilities
- Purchasing of All materials required for O&M (Operations & Maintenance) & Projects for PAN India.
(Gearbox, Generator, Transformer, Encoders, Cables, Lubricants, Control panel spares, electronic items, Carbon Brushes, Engineering components, Bearings, Consumables, Hydraulic tools & Project tools and Commissioning tools).
Preparation of contracts for the service providers for turbine maintenance.Releasing of Purchase orders in SAP for the material requirements from various PAN India sites.Co-coordinating with the entire site in charges and the site stores personals for the material requirements during High wind season.Reviewing the site stocks through SAP and ensuring that all the critical spares are available at site during High wind seasons.Development of new vendors as per requirements and delivering the materials to various sites from the nearest sources to reduce the cost and the time.Planning of long lead items like ABB Spares, Bearings, Encoders, Electrical control systems, Lubricants for Gear box, import materials and critical spares well in advance to avoid shortage of items during the High wind season.Preparation of MIS reports and sending it to the Chief Supply chain officer for his review and reference.Initiated discussion with Supply partner for Vendor Managed Inventory model (VMI) at all sites covering PAN India.Budget preparation for materials and services for the Pan India fleets and ensuring the spend within the Budget.Preparation of cash flow statements for the materials and services, including LC planning for materials purchases.Skills Required
