Assistant Manager / Manager - Procurement Raw Materials- Steel Plant

Purchase Management  : -

• Accountable, responsible and monitoring and order finalization for day to day procurement of coal beneficiation plant operational purchase of mechanical, electrical, civil, administration & consumables Ensure and responsible for complete strategic negotiation and approving for day to day Indenting of various materials and finalization of purchase orders.

Contract Management  : -

• Finalization of BOQ, issue of tender documents, analysis & evaluation of tender & award of work contract for supply, installation, testing & commissioning of turnkey job works related to mechanical, electrical, civil works, manpower supply, Plumbing & various civil site contract, etc.
• Ensure & responsible for preparation and finalization of rate contract for regular required materials during project operation and also looking after work contract related to bulk fabrications, erections, machining and repairing works for different location / cost centre.
• Award of Rate Contact related to transportation of various raw materials, dispatch of finished goods from plant to different customers.
• Ensure and Finalization of Rate for Stuffing of Container at plant premises and Stuffing of Container at Container Termination Station for shipment subject to the terms & Conditions.

Vendor Development  : -

• Decide supplier selection and make final decision, Manage supplier relationships for local categories and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Responsible for providing assistance to tendering team with reference to the current as well as future projected procurement cost.
• Responsible for keeping the procurement value well within the specified budget.

Export documentation & Logistic Management   : -

• Guiding and monitoring for preparation of shipment documentation.
• Negotiation and award of Transport rate contract for bulk logistics through different mode i.e., Road Transport, Rack Loading by railways, custom house agent from Vizag Seaport. Paradeep port.
• Also monitoring for day to liasioning works for raw materials permission from DDM Office.
• MIS Report Presentation for incoming of various raw materials, dispatch of finished goods.
