Job Brief :

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Linux Application Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will help keep our systems running smoothly, solve problems, and make sure our clients get quick and effective solutions. You will work with advanced tools, learn new skills, and be part of a team that values your ideas and expertise.

Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and fix issues raised by clients quickly and effectively.
• Support Linux-based applications using Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Apply patches and run key Linux commands (tar / gzip, grep, find, sed, awk, vim, sort, declare, export).
• Analyse logs and find the root cause using Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Work with Autosys to start, stop, restart, and troubleshoot jobs.
• Write and run complex SQL queries.
• Use ServiceNow and BigPanda for task and alert management.
• Share knowledge with new team members through training sessions.
• Document processes and troubleshooting methods.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools.
