Application Support Engineer

Overview :

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application / Production Support to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application and production support, with expertise in Linux and SQL. Experience in the Capital Market, Trading, or BFSI domain is highly preferred.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Application Support : Provide end-to-end support for applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
• Production Support : Monitor production systems, ensure stability, and address any issues that arise.
• Incident Management : Manage and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaboration : Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and ensure smooth deployments.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance system performance and reliability.
• On-Call Support : Provide on-call support as needed to address critical issues outside regular working hours.
