Role Overview
We are looking for dynamic and driven Business Development Managers (BDMs) with 3–4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the education or technology sector. The BDM will be responsible for end-to-end sales ownership — from lead generation to closure — while also onboarding, training, and managing channel partners to strengthen Ulipsu's reach in assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales to Schools
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential schools through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to school owners, principals, and decision-makers.
- Drive consultative selling, handle objections, and close deals within defined sales cycles.
- Deliver revenue targets consistently across assigned territories.
Channel Partner Onboarding & Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential channel partners (distributors, agencies, education consultants).Train partners on Ulipsu's product, value proposition, and sales processes.Provide partners with sales kits, collateral, and regular updates to enable success.Monitor partner performance, drive accountability on revenue targets, and support them in closures.Build long-term, trust-based relationships with partners to maximize territory coverage.Account Management & Renewals
Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for closed schools.Collaborate with Customer Success Managers for renewals and upselling opportunities.Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor activity, partner landscape, and market trends.Report daily / weekly activities, partner performance, pipeline status, and closure forecasts.Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of proven experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or education services.Strong consultative selling, relationship management, and channel management experience.Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to travel frequently for school visits and partner engagements.Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred).Skills Required
