What Will You Contribute?

As a Territory Sales Manager – Transaction Banking Solutions , you will play a dual role in New Names and New Logos acquisition and Strategic Account Management . You will be responsible for expanding our client’s footprint across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks in India, driving adoption of transaction banking, core banking, and lending solutions.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, Sales – Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa . You will own a portfolio of key accounts while also developing new business opportunities, ensuring growth, client satisfaction, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Growth – Build, manage, and expand existing customer relationships, ensuring high retention and incremental revenue.
  • New Name Acquisition – Identify and close new business opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks across India.
  • Enterprise Sales Ownership – Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution positioning, proposal management, and deal closure.
  • Strategic Engagement – Build strong C-level and senior stakeholder relationships across business, technology, and procurement functions.
  • Consultative Selling – Develop tailored account plans, leveraging deep knowledge of transaction banking including Core Banking and Lending to address client challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaboration – Partner with Pre-Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure customer success.
  • Market Intelligence – Share insights on transaction banking modernization, digital transformation, and competitive trends.
  • Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and active CRM reporting.
  • Travel – Willingness to travel across India.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements (Applications Without This Experience Will Not Be Considered)

  • 15+ years of software sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in selling Transaction Banking Solutions, including Core Banking and Lending solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of selling into Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and financial institutions in India.
  • Strong hunter mentality, with a proven ability to both open new doors and develop existing relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly Transaction Banking platforms including Core Banking and Lending and their transformation.
  • Established C-Level relationships within major banks in India.
  • Experience collaborating across Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Delivery functions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with confidence at senior levels.
  • University degree required.
  • Fluent in English.

    Candidates with experience in solutions from Finastra, Temenos, Intellect Design Arena, Infosys Finacle, TCS, Oracle, SAP, Mambu, Backbase, Nucleus Software, nCino, TurnKey Lender, FIS, Avaloq, Edgeverve, Calypso or similar providers are strongly encouraged to apply.
