Role Overview :
The Area Sales Manager - AAC Blocks will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory of Hyderabad and surrounding regions. This leadership role demands a strategic sales mindset, strong relationship management skills, and deep market understanding to achieve revenue objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Business Development :
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across the territory.
- Formulate and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding the customer base in the AAC blocks segment.
Channel & Client Management :
Manage and nurture relationships with channel partners, builders, contractors, and architects.Conduct regular site visits to monitor product usage and maintain customer satisfaction.Deliver product presentations, technical guidance, and after-sales support to clients.Target Achievement & Market Intelligence :
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing dynamics to identify opportunities.Provide timely feedback to management on market developments.Operational Excellence :
Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy receivables.Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, production, customer service) to ensure smooth order execution and delivery.Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, sales reports, and forecasts.Candidate Profile :
Experience : Minimum 3-4 years in sales of AAC blocks, building materials, or construction products.Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to close deals.Market Knowledge : Familiarity with the Hyderabad construction ecosystem.Other Requirements : Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Education : Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, etc.); MBA in Marketing preferred.(ref : iimjobs.com)
