Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier business development strategies to enhance supplier partnerships.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to expand the supplier network.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in supplier markets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, and finance to align supplier strategies with business goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with agreements and service levels.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supplier performance and business development progress to management.
Skills and Qualifications
5-15 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or business development.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Proficient in data analysis and market research techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).Skills Required
