CONTRACT SITE MANAGER - FITOUT AND REFURB

My client is seeking an organised and driven Contract Site Manager to oversee commercial fitout and refurbishment across Sydney, NSW.

They have multiple fitout and refurb projects across the commercial, retail, age care and education space.

What you will do :

• Lead all on-site activities, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and progress reporting
• Maintain rigorous Health & Safety compliance, carrying out inductions, toolbox talks, and continuous risk assessments.
• Manage works in live, occupied spaces, minimising disruption while maintaining strong client relationships
• Drive programme performance, quality control, and site logistics
• Identify issues early and implement solutions to keep the project on track

Requirements :

• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial fitout / refurb projects up to $5M
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and hands-on experience enforcing safety on live sites
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage trades
• Confident working under pressure with tight deadlines and constantly shifting priorities
• Proven ability to read drawings, coordinate services, and manage high-detail finishes
