Site Operations Manager | Heathwood

Opportunity to lead our world-class operations

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily transport activities at our Heathwood site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of all transport operations, driving team performance, and maintaining exceptional service standards for our customer.

A dynamic role where every day is different, your duties will include :

Leading and managing the transport team, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Overseeing daily dispatch, routing, and fleet utilisation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in line with SLA commitments.

Monitoring operational performance, analysing data, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Ensuring compliance with all safety, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

Managing resources, driver allocations, and transport schedules to optimise costs and service outcomes.

Providing coaching, development, and succession opportunities for Supervisors and team members to build long-term capability.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Proven experience managing large-scale transport operations within the 3PL, logistics, or supply chain industry.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams across multiple shifts.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on safety and service outcomes.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining high operational standards.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.

Solid proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS), reporting tools, and MS Office Suite.

Tertiary qualifications in logistics, transport management, business, or a related field will be highly regarded.
