Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will act as the first point of contact for prospective students and parents exploring international study opportunities. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional service experience by managing incoming and outgoing calls providing preliminary information and connecting students with counsellors for further guidance. Candidates with prior experience in customer service guest relations or client servicing (preferably from the hospitality industry) are ideal for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Parent Interaction
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents regarding KCIC programs.
- Provide courteous accurate and timely information about available study options and admission processes.
- Understand student interests and connect them with the appropriate counsellor for detailed assistance.
- Schedule and confirm counselling appointments ensuring seamless coordination.
- Maintain a warm professional and service-oriented communication style at all times.
Data Management & Reporting
Record all student interactions and updates accurately in the CRM system.Track daily call volumes appointments scheduled and follow-up outcomes.Prepare and share regular activity and conversion reports with the admissions team.Team Collaboration
Work closely with counsellors marketing and admissions teams to ensure a smooth flow of communication.Support student recruitment events such as webinars open houses and school outreach sessions.Collect feedback from students and parents to enhance service quality and engagementRequirements
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in any discipline.13 years of experience as a Customer Service Executive Guest Relations Executive Client Service Executive or Business Development Executive preferably in the hospitality or education industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong phone etiquette.Fluency in English and at least one regional language.- Good computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or data management systems.Pleasant personality with a student-first and service-oriented mindset.Ability to multitask work under pressure and achieve daily call and follow-up targets.Willingness to work six days a week and travel locally when required.Benefits
