Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HR & Compliance Manager to join our factory team at Khopoli. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complete HR operations and ensuring statutory compliance within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing setup. This role plays a critical part in building a compliant, transparent, and performance-driven workplace culture.
Requirements
Recruitment & Onboarding
Drive end-to-end recruitment : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Oversee onboarding and induction programs for smooth integration of new employees.
Maintain an updated employee database and ensure accurate hiring documentation.
HR Operations
Manage the complete employee life cycle (joining, transfers, confirmation, exits).
Handle payroll processing and salary administration including statutory deductions (PF, ESI, Professional Tax, etc.).
Monitor attendance, leave management, and ensure HRMS updates are accurate and timely.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with all labour laws and statutory requirements (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESIC, LWF, Maternity Benefits, etc.).
Liaise with government authorities for inspections, audits, and statutory filings.
Maintain up-to-date compliance records and ensure timely submissions of remittances and statutory returns.
Policy & Documentation
Draft, update, and implement HR policies related to leave, discipline, and performance.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure all HR compliance documentation is complete and audit-ready.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and professional manner.
Lead employee engagement initiatives and drive retention programs.
Build healthy communication channels between management and workers.
Performance Management & Training
Oversee performance appraisal cycles and ensure transparent evaluation processes.
Identify skill gaps and organize training programs with internal / external trainers.
Promote awareness of compliance, safety, and best HR practices across the workforce.

Qualifications MBA / PGDM or Master’s degree in HR, Labour Relations, or related field. Minimum 10+ years of HR experience in FMCG / manufacturing / industrial setups, with at least 5 years in a compliance-focused role. Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
