Compliance Manager - NBFC

Job descriptionEnsure compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory requirements applicable to NBFC operations. Oversee regulatory filings, inspections, and ensure timely submissions. Draft, review, and update compliance policies, frameworks, and SOPs. Conduct compliance risk assessments and ensure robust monitoring mechanisms. Liaise with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders on compliance matters. Provide regular training and guidance to business teams on regulatory developments. Support the Group Compliance Head in designing and implementing compliance strategy and governance initiatives. Monitor and assess regulatory changes, highlighting business impact and necessary actions. Experience : 12–15 years of proven experience in compliance within the NBFC sector . Education : Graduate / Postgraduate in Law, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Professional certifications (CS / CA / CFA / compliance certifications) will be an advantage. In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations, NBFC compliance frameworks, governance standards, and reporting requirements . Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making. High ethical standards, detail orientation, and ability to manage complex compliance issues.
