Role Summary
The Associate Vice President will play a crucial role in shaping the firm's financial strategy, managing capital structure, and leading Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising activities.
This is a high-visibility role requiring a strong foundation in corporate finance, financial modeling, and strategic negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- M&A and Investment : Lead the end-to-end process for potential acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments, including target screening, due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
- Financial Planning : Develop and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger models) to evaluate business initiatives, capital expenditure proposals, and strategic options.
- Capital Management : Manage the firm's capital structure, optimizing debt-equity mix, and evaluating various financing options (e.g., debt syndication, private equity, public markets).
- Board Reporting : Prepare comprehensive financial and strategic presentations for the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with business unit heads, legal, and treasury teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with operational goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education : Full-time MBA in Finance or an equivalent qualification (e.g., CA with an MBA) from a premier institute.CFA certification is a strong plus.Experience : 6-10 years of experience, with a significant portion in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a Corporate Development / Strategy role within a large corporation.Expertise : Impeccable skills in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.Strong understanding of capital markets and regulatory frameworks.
