Job Title : Business Development Manager – International Markets
Job Location : Sanand , Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Plant : Sanand–Bavla road)
Reports To : Director –CEO
Job Overview :
Identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities in semi-regulated and regulated international markets. The role demands strong expertise in pharmaceutical exports, regulatory knowledge, market analysis, and client relationship management to drive the company's growth globally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market Development & Sales o Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities across semi-regulated and regulated markets. o Develop and execute country-specific strategies for market penetration. o Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion with existing partners.
- Client Relationship Management o Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, agents, and regulatory bodies. o Handle negotiations for agreements, contracts, and MOUs with clients and partners. o Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.
- Regulatory & Commercial Support o Coordinate with internal Regulatory Affairs team for product registrations, dossiers, and certifications. o Stay updated with global regulatory requirements (WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, USFDA, etc.). o Support clients with regulatory queries and documentation.
- Business Strategy & Analysis o Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks. o Prepare detailed business proposals, market entry plans, and product portfolios for target regions. o Participate in international exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration o Work closely with Production, QA / QC, RA, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order execution. o Align internal teams to meet customer expectations and timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Education : B.Pharm + MBA (Marketing).Experience : 8 – 12 years in international business development / export sales within the pharma formulations industry.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical exports, regulatory frameworks, and dossier requirements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel internationally as per business needs.Contact
