Position Overview
Motadata is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Presales Consultant to lead our presales function and act as a strategic bridge between sales, product, and delivery teams. This is a high-impact role that demands a blend of deep technical acumen, strategic thinking, and consultative sales expertise. You will be responsible for understanding complex customer requirements, designing robust solutions, and delivering compelling presentations that articulate Motadata's value proposition across IT Infrastructure Monitoring, IT Service Management, and AIOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Proposal Leadership : Lead end-to-end presales activities, from initial discovery to solution architecture, proposal development, and technical presentations.
- Client Discovery & Technical Consulting : Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements; shape tailored solutions that align with customer needs and enterprise architecture standards.
- Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs) : Plan and execute impactful product demos and PoCs that highlight our platform's differentiators and align with customer use cases.
- Sales Enablement : Partner with sales and channel teams to respond to RFPs / RFIs, build solution blueprints, and drive technical win strategies.
- Solution Documentation : Develop detailed documentation including Solution Architecture, Technical Proposals, SOWs, ROI Models, HLD / LLD, HW sizing / BOMs, and compliance matrices.
- Customization Feasibility & Effort Estimation : Analyze customization needs and evaluate feasibility, scope, and integration complexity with third-party platforms where required.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning : Stay abreast of market trends, evolving technologies, and competitor offerings to position Motadata with clear differentiation.
- Internal Collaboration : Work closely with the Product Management Group (PMG), Engineering, and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap direction.
- Strategic GTM Initiatives : Contribute to go-to-market strategies, customer success playbooks, and channel partner enablement.
- Industry Representation : Represent Motadata at industry conferences, trade shows, and partner events, building brand visibility and fostering strategic relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise :
Proven experience with ITOM / NMS / ITSM platforms such as SolarWinds, WhatsUpGold, PRTG, ServiceNow, Freshworks, BMC, etc.Strong grasp of core infrastructure concepts including Networking, Servers, Cloud, SDN, Application Monitoring, and IoT integrations.Hands-on experience in architecting solutions and responding to public sector / enterprise RFPs.Documentation & Solutioning :
Expertise in preparing enterprise-grade proposals, architectural blueprints, SoWs, and solution presentations.Soft Skills :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong stakeholder management and consultative sales abilities.Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive-level audiences.Behavioral Traits :
