Job Description :
As a SAP Presales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling SAP solution proposals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop SAP solution proposals.
- Conduct requirement analysis, solution design, and participate in customer discussions, workshops, and demos.
- Map customer business needs to SAP capabilities (ECC, S / 4HANA, cloud solutions, and industry-specific modules).
- Deliver presentations, POCs, and value propositions that align with client objectives.
Proposal & Bid Management :
Prepare and contribute to RFP / RFI / RFQ responses, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.Define scope, architecture, timelines, and integration plans for proposed SAP solutions.Support commercial discussions by preparing pricing estimates, licensing models, and effort estimation.Product Knowledge & Demonstrations :
Stay updated with SAP's latest offerings, features, roadmap, and industry best practices.Lead product demos (SAP S / 4HANA, Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.) tailored to customer requirements.Interface with SAP product teams and partners when needed to co-create solutions.Internal Coordination :
Liaise with delivery, project management, and technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and readiness.Help in creating reusable pre-sales assets like presentation decks, demo scripts, and templates.Provide training and enablement to sales teams on SAP products and updates.Required Skills & Experience :
5-10 years of experience in SAP domain, with at least 23 years in a pre-sales role.Good understanding of SAP modules like FI / CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, and S / 4HANA migration & transformation.Experience working with SAP Cloud solutions (BTP, SAC, SuccessFactors, Ariba) is a plus.Familiarity with SAP licensing models, deployment options (On-Premise / Cloud / Hybrid).Excellent presentation, documentation, and proposal writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills to manage CXO-level conversations, discovery workshops, and strategic positioning.Education & Certifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Business; MBA preferred.SAP Certifications (S / 4HANA, SAP Solution Architect, etc.) are desirable(ref : hirist.tech)
