Job Summary :

The General Manager - Operations, Sales and Business Development will oversee the end-to-end management of facility services operations and lead the business development strategy to drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader with proven expertise in facilities management, client servicing, and operational excellence, coupled with a strong sales orientation to generate new business opportunities.

Key Management :

  • Lead and manage daily operations across multiple facility management sites to ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping, technical services, security, and other support functions.
  • Monitor manpower deployment, productivity, and vendor performance to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality standards.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the facility management space.
  • Prepare proposals, tenders, and client presentations to secure new contracts.
  • Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, developers, and institutions.
  • Develop and execute annual sales targets and revenue plans in alignment with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients and partners.
  • Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and develop operations and sales teams for high performance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and P&L management to drive sustainable growth.
  • Coordinate with finance, HR, procurement, and technical teams for smooth operations.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and prepare regular management reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking forums to strengthen brand positioning.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Facility Management (MBA preferred).
  • 10-20 years of experience in operations and sales within the facility management, real estate, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale facility portfolios and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and facility management software.
