Job Purpose :
The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing the region as an independent profit center. The role involves overseeing sales, operations, profitability, and administration of the assigned region while ensuring adherence to company policies and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Profit Centre Management :
- Independently handle the regional profit center and ensure achievement of revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor overheads and maintain expenses within the budgeted limits to achieve targeted net profit.
People & Performance Management :
Lead, manage, and motivate regional employees;monitor and review individual performance regularly.
Control attrition by creating a motivational environment through training, development, and engagement activities.Sales & Business Development :
Develop and implement strategies to generate topline growth across Sundry, FTL (Paid & To-Pay), and Contractual businesses.Build strong relationships with corporate clients and develop new business opportunities to expand market presence.Understand market trends and create strategic plans for sales and operational growth.Operational Excellence :
Ensure efficient Sundry and FTL operations within approved budgets.Maintain high service efficiency while adhering to booking, dispatch, and delivery (DD) norms.Manage HUB operations and vendor performance, introducing innovative methods to ensure safe and timely delivery.Financial & Credit Control :
Manage receivables in line with company policy and control credit flow within the region.Analyze regional expenses and implement cost-control measures.Oversee the flow of documents from branches to field accounts, ensure accurate bank reconciliations, and participate actively in branch audits.Customer Relationship Management :
Maintain effective communication channels with key customers to understand their requirements and coordinate with internal teams for service delivery.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through timely response and issue resolution.Administration & Compliance :
Oversee overall administration of the region, ensuring adherence to company SOPs, policies, and compliance requirements.Key Skills & Competencies :
