The Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) currently has an opening for a Program Specialist I, Project Manager, in the Logistics Information Services (LIS) division on the Program Management Office (PMO) team. In this role, the individual will be leading several strategic transformational projects that requires Project Management and team leadership expertise.
Primary goals :
Lead multiple projects simultaneously for LIS PMO
Provide periodic updates to the Sponsor and stakeholders
Collaborate effectively with global teams
Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Ability to facilitate multiple projects in parallel, collaborate with internal and external partners to identify project scope, provide rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, lead collaboration sessions, proactively manage project risks and deliver as per plan and with high quality.
- Manage the day-to-day project activities, deliverables and resources of an SPM major release.
- Ensure alignment with overall program objectives, timelines and deliverables.
- Provide periodic updates to the Sponsor and stakeholders on planned vs actual spend, resource alignment, key milestones during the lifecycle, risk identification and mitigation.
- Implement or participate in any change control activities relative to their project.
- Knowledge of ALM for Test planning and execution.
- Knowledge of project cutover and conversion planning and execution.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor s degree from an accredited universityMinimum of 8 years of IT experience2 years of IT project management experienceExperience leading medium complexity projectsComfortable gathering, interpreting, and presenting data to high-level managementExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsProcess development and improvement experienceTop Candidates Will Also Have :
Initiative with willingness to take ownership and accountabilityStrong customer focus and sense of urgency.Working knowledge of SAP (Service Parts Management, SAP Solution Manager, SAP methodologies)Proven leadership skills with medium complexity projects and ability to gain consensus from multiple levels of management as required.Proven ability to work with Enterprise-wide project sponsors, program managers and project leads from many different functional areasFocus on teamwork and ability to build consensus.Demonstrates commitment to IT Controls, methodologies, processes and standards for transition planning and supportProficiency with MS Office applications including Power Point, Project, Excel and VisioExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively with multiple Business, IT and vendor partners and other management personnel including on a global & virtual basisSkills Required
