Role Overview.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing client relationships in the Data & AI domain.

You will collaborate closely with technical teams and leadership to align client needs with our solutions and services.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in Data, AI, and Software consultancy.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the client base across industries (Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, and business leaders.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, proposal creation, presentations, contract negotiations, and closure.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions that address client challenges and opportunities.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy.
  • Meet and exceed revenue, pipeline, and growth targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within IT Services, Consulting, or Technology Solutions (preferably Data, AI, Cloud, or Software Development).
  • Strong understanding of Data & AI technologies (Data Engineering, Machine Learning, MLOps, Cloud Platforms, Analytics).
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical offerings into clear business value for clients.
  • Strong network of decision-makers across industries (preferred).
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Nice to Have.

  • Experience selling consulting services (not just software licenses).
  • Knowledge of enterprise data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
  • Exposure to emerging areas like Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, or Advanced Analytics.
