Role Details
St Michael’s College is a member of the global Lasallian family.
We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive Lasallian community, aligned with strategic commitment to optimise student experiences and outcomes.
Our commitment is to provide opportunities that will prepare students to be compassionate and enthusiastic participants in society who prioritise service to others, especially the marginalised and those in need.
Guided by Lasallian teachings, enriched by contemporary educational theory and practices, students, staff and families are empowered to flourish and find success.
The Inclusive Education Coordinator (Years 9-12) promotes, maintains and enhances the Catholic identity of the College and is committed to a Lasallian philosophy of education.
The Coordinator will lead a team of Education Support Officers and collaborate with those in learning leadership roles to provide informed learning leadership in the area of Inclusivity. Leadership in this role will reflect best practice, and the ability to advocate for students and guide staff in line with the College mission and vision, in particular, “We are an inclusive and respectful community where each individual is known, valued and cared for, enabling them to feel confident to explore their curiosities, flourish and fully realise their potential”.
Reporting to the Director of Inclusivity, the Coordinator will bring thoughtful leadership, perspective, advocacy and vision to ensuring a key Lasallian value, Inclusivity, permeates the fabric of the College.
