Cabra Dominican College is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Diverse Learning Curriculum Support to commence 19 January 2026.
The position is permanent for 24 hours per week, 4 days per week and 40 weeks per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Student Learning : Assist students in achieving their individual learning goals through tailored support, scaffolding tasks, and implementing strategies outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with Educators : Work closely with the Leader of Diverse Learning and classroom teachers to deliver adjusted programs and provide in-class and out-of-class support.
- Promote Student Wellbeing : Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development using restorative practices and assist in identifying learning or behavioural challenges.
- Assist in Classroom Activities : Help prepare, implement, and supervise learning activities, monitor student progress, and support students during excursions, camps, and extracurricular events.
- Administrative and Record-Keeping Tasks : Maintain accurate records of student progress using SEQTA, and perform general administrative duties such as photocopying and filing.
- Contribute to a Safe and Inclusive Environment : Promote safe work practices, attend team meetings, and carry out other duties as directed by leadership.

You are a supportive and adaptable professional who :
Has experience working with students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and ASD.Communicates effectively and is confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.Can flexibly support students across Years 7–12 in a variety of subjects.Understands and applies strategies to support student behaviour and regulation.Builds respectful relationships with students, families, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Is detail-oriented, organised, and committed to the values and mission of Cabra Dominican College, with a willingness to engage with the Dominican charism.Copies of your :Current DHS Working with Children Check
