Summary
As a Project Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting company products into major projects. Your primary objective will be to achieve sales targets by generating leads, developing a healthy pipeline of projects, and ensuring timely conversions. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction / infrastructure sector, excellent networking and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales :
- Generate leads and identify new business opportunities in the construction / infrastructure sector.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling company products for projects.
- Develop a healthy pipeline of projects and ensure timely conversions.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, PMC’s, contractors, and builders.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Provide solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Market Development :
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure product support at project sites.
- Project Monitoring :
- Ensure follow-up on ongoing projects for product approvals and order closures.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery, execution support, and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Requirements :
Strong knowledge of construction materials / construction chemical products.Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.Proven track record in project sales / institutional sales.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or MBA (preferred).3–8 years of experience in Project Sales / Construction Chemicals / Building Materials industry.Existing network of builders, contractors, consultants, and infrastructure clients will be an added advantage.Requirements
Experience : Minimum 0.6 months experience as a Steel Fixer Age : No restrictions Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings Proficiency in using rebar cutters, benders, and grinders Knowledge of proper reinforcement placement techniques Collaboration skills with concrete workers
