Position : Assistant Manager – Pricing
Location : Noida
Responsibilities :
Handle FCL / LCL / Containers / Special Equipment pricing and operations.
Receive and process enquiries from clients, agents, and internal teams.
Understand RFQs and client-specific requirements.
Maintain knowledge of container carriers and trade lanes.
Track and update sailing schedule changes and trade surcharges.
Coordinate internally to source rates for transport, CHA, insurance, handling, etc.
Liaise with carriers for booking / space / allotment issues.
Be aware of FMC Rate Filing and ACD / ENS compliance.
For US shipments : ability to file NAC (Named Account Filing).
Work with overseas agents for DAP, DDP, and cross-trade shipment pricing.
Quote clients / agents on a door-to-door basis.
Database Management :
Create and maintain a database of origin charges and tariffs (THC, liner local, port charges, detention, demurrage, reefer plug-in, SSR, VIA, Seaway, BL, switch charges, empty origin detention, port wharfage, etc.).
Keep teams updated on route changes and the launch of new services.
Support deployment of new services and manage rate levels.
Shipping Line Coordination :
Handle escalations, rate filing, and negotiations with carriers.
Maintain strong relations with carriers.
Share rate sheets, vessel positions, and updates internally.
Conduct conversion and lost business analysis.
Skills Required :
