Role Summary

The Assistant Manager - Capex will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement of capital goods, equipment, and project-related services.

This role ensures alignment with project budgets, compliance standards, and strategic sourcing practices.

The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Operations) to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant execution of capital purchase projects.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Procurement & Planning

• Develop and execute annual and project-specific Capex procurement plans aligned with approved budgets.
• Coordinate with project teams for equipment specifications, capacity requirements, and timelines.
• Prepare cost estimates, evaluate ROI, and support Capex approval processes with senior management.

Supplier Evaluation & Contract Management

Procurement Operations & Compliance

Vendor & Market Management

Process Improvement & Digital Transformation

Qualifications & Experience

Education : B.Tech / B.in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, OR MBA in Supply Chain Management 6-11 years in procurement, Capex management, or supply chain in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industry.
