Role Summary
We are looking for a DVP / VP to lead private market investment advisory for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and family offices. This role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and advising clients on pre-IPO and early-stage venture capital opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private equity and venture capital, a strong network in the startup ecosystem, and a proven track record of facilitating private market deals.

Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation : Identify and source high-potential pre-IPO and early-stage investment opportunities for clients.
- Client Advisory : Advise HNIs and family offices on private market deals, including conducting due diligence on startups' financial health, market position, and growth potential.
- Deal Facilitation : Manage the end-to-end deal process for pre-IPO placements and secondary transactions with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNI) investors. This includes preparing legal documents and negotiating terms.
- Startup Advisory : Advise startups on capital raising and funding strategies through HNIs, family offices, and micro-VCs.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to guide investment strategies.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, VCs, family offices, and HNIs.
- Portfolio Management : Help clients integrate private market investments into their overall wealth plan for a balanced and diversified portfolio.

Qualifications
Experience : Proven experience in private equity, venture capital, or a related field, with a focus on advising HNI and family office clients. Experience facilitating pre-IPO and secondary transactions is highly preferred.Domain Knowledge : A strong understanding of private market investment strategies, including venture capital and growth equity. Familiarity with fund structures, financial modeling, and valuation analysis is essential.Network : An established network within the startup and private investment ecosystem in India.Education : A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required. An MBA or CFA is a plus.Soft Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with sophisticated investors.
