Construction Project Manager oversees construction projects from start to finish, managing budgets, schedules, stakeholders, and resources to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Key responsibilities include detailed planning, risk management, quality control, subcontractor negotiation, site coordination, and clear communication with clients, architects, and engineers to align with project objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Project Planning : Develop comprehensive plans, create detailed project schedules, and define project scope and vision with the client.
Budget Management : Prepare cost estimates, manage project budgets, track spending, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to define objectives, allocate resources, and maintain communication.
Procurement : Manage the ordering and delivery of necessary materials, supplies, tools, and equipment for the project.
On-Site Oversight : Coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics, delegating tasks to various contractors and subcontractors and ensuring work quality.
Quality and Safety : Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential risks, handle change orders, and resolve on-site issues to prevent budget and time delays.
Reporting and Documentation : Monitor project progress, prepare status reports for stakeholders, and maintain key project documentation.
