Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead Channel Partner Acquisition & Revenue Growth PAN India.
- Identifying, onboarding, and managing Channel Partners.
- Driving revenue generation in assigned regions and expanding to new regions.
- Providing demos, support, and sales assistance to partners and end users.
- Traveling extensively to meet, engage, and build lasting partnerships.
- Managing Sales and Marketing Team.
Key Responsibilities Channel Partner Acquisition & Expansion
Identify and onboard new Channel Partners across India to expand market reach.Develop and execute strategic plans to engage, activate, and grow partnerships.Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure long-term collaborations.Revenue Generation & Regional Sales Performance
Achieve assigned sales revenue targets by driving channel sales.Monitor partner performance and ensure high conversion rates.Work closely with partners to generate leads, close deals, and meet revenue goals.Product Demonstration & Partner Enablement
Conduct product presentations, live demos, and training sessions.Educate partners and customers about ERP features, benefits, and use cases.Provide necessary sales materials, strategies, and tools to partners.Partner Relationship Management & Support
Ensure smooth onboarding, training, and operational support for channel partners.Assist partners with sales strategies, overcoming objections, and closing deals.Act as the primary point of contact for partners to resolve issues and maximize their performance.Market Research & Business Intelligence
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.Provide monthly reports on sales growth, partner performance, and new opportunities.Contribute to business strategies, expansion plans, and marketing efforts.Manage the Sales and Marketing Team
Oversee team reporting.Ensure each member performs well.Conduct team training and development.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve monthly / quarterly sales targets (e.g., XX Lakhs per region).Successfully onboard X new Channel Partners per quarter.Conduct at least XX meetings per month with potential partners.Deliver a minimum of X product demonstrations per week.Maintain a conversion rate of XX% from leads to signed partnerships.Ensure 70-80% partner retention and active engagement.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.3-7 years of experience in B2B Sales, Channel Sales, or Partner Management (preferably ERP, SaaS, or IT solutions).Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel extensively across India.Ability to work independently managing multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.Preferred Skills
Experience in ERP, Retail Software, or SaaS industry.Prior experience in partner onboarding and business expansion.Knowledge of regional markets, distributor networks, and retail industry dynamics.Compensation & Incentives
