Key Responsibilities :
- Promote and sell advanced American automation products in the assigned region.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Perform detailed technical and business needs analysis to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Follow up on sales leads and generate new business through telephone, email, and direct outreach.
- Make direct sales to customers and provide support to local distributors.
- Train and mentor distributor sales engineers and regional sales engineers on company products.
- Manage the activities of sales engineers within the assigned region.
- Reside in the assigned marketing area and oversee all customer accounts.
- Travel within the region to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums, and conferences to showcase products.
- Undergo training in strategic selling skills, product knowledge, and periodic travel to the US for advanced learning.
Prerequisites / Experience :
Proven track record of sales in technical products across any industry.Good aptitude for computers and mechatronics concepts.Aggressive, dynamic, and confident personality with excellent communication skills in English and local languages.Effective presentation skills for small and large groups.Understanding of basic selling processes with a desire to learn strategic selling techniques.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Minimum 5 years of sales experience and 2 years in leadership / management roles for Regional Sales Managers.Skills Required
