About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales operations in the Pulmonary therapeutic segment across Kerala. The role is ideal for a driven leader with proven expertise in pharmaceutical sales, strong people management skills, and the ability to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) for the Pulmonary portfolio.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across Kerala.
- Forecast sales, plan budgets, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective measures.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with overall business and marketing objectives.
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and institutions.
- Plan and execute medical educational events (CME programs, workshops, seminars) to enhance brand visibility and KOL engagement.
- Drive product adoption and positioning through insights gathered from KOLs and key accounts.
- Ensure optimal product availability through distributors, stockists, and retailers.
- Oversee the effective and compliant use of promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate and timely reports on sales performance, market share, customer insights, and promotional ROI.
- Present monthly and quarterly business reviews to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry code of conduct.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).10–15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience , with at least 3–5 years in a Regional Sales Manager role.Proven expertise in the Pulmonary therapeutic segments.Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and team management skills.Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and managing large teams.Willingness to travel extensively within Kerala.Skills Required
