POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Percent of Time)
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis (30%)
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
2. Process Improvement (15%)
Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.3. Data Analysis & Reporting (15%)
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to share findings with stakeholders.4. Stakeholder Collaboration (20%)
Work closely with stakeholders, including Product Managers , Scrum Masters , Dev Leads , Developers , and QA Teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.5. Documentation & Communication (20%)
Develop detailed documentation, including business requirements , process flows , and user stories .Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Bachelor's degree in business administration , Finance , Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field. This foundational education provides the necessary knowledge in business principles, financial analysis, and technical skills.Master's Degree (Preferred) : A master's degree in business administration (MBA) , Management Information Systems (MIS) , or a related field can be advantageous. This advanced education provides deeper insights into business strategy, management, and advanced analytical techniques.Certifications (Preferred) :Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)Agile Analysis Certification (AAC)TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Requirements Gathering and Documentation :Experience with requirements elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.Proficiency in creating detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.Business Process Modeling :Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and UML (Unified Modeling Language).Ability to create process flow diagrams , use case diagrams , and sequence diagrams .Project Management Tools :Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira , Trello , Asana , or Microsoft Project .Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and how to apply them in project management.Technical Writing :Strong technical writing skills to create clear and concise documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to write user manuals , system documentation , and training materials .Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) :Understanding of the various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle and how business analysis fits into each stage.Ability to work closely with developers and QA teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.Testing and Quality Assurance :Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools , including unit testing , integration testing , and user acceptance testing (UAT) .Ability to create test plans , test cases , and coordinate testing activities .Communication and Collaboration Tools :Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools such as Slack , Microsoft Teams , and Zoom .Ability to facilitate virtual meetings and workshops effectively.Bonus Points :
